Recommendation Serve at 14º-18º C. This wine pairs well with a fava bean and game stew; a lobster and grouper rice;  a hearty bean stew or pork leg roasted in a wood oven.

Harvest On September 12th, the harvest was done manually and transported in 10 kg boxes to avoid crushing the grapes
Oenology Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank, for three weeks, at a controlled temperature of 24ºC
Aging After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for 24 month in young French “Ermitage” oak barrels, specially made for this, followed by aging in the bottle.

This wine was inspired by João Barreiros Cardoso, Filipe’s father and a man who enjoyed living life just like the label shows, over a feast of food and impressive wines and surrounded by his loved ones. Filipe holds his father as one of the biggest influences that led him to explore further his interest for the wine world, as such it made perfect sense to create a special, and limited edition, wine to honour an even more special person.
