The label of our first white wine was inspired by the stone arch that is a landmark from the original Herdade, back in the 18th century. For us, at Herdade Papa Leite, it is not only important to guarantee each wine is a genuine product from its terroir, but as well that it tells the history of the family, its past and future ambitions.

Grapes Muscat, Chenin Blanc e Viognier
Tasting Notes / Colour : Citric yellow / Aroma: Very elegant, with hints of peach, passion fruit and honey
Flavour : Very balanced in the mouth, mineral and excellent texture. Hints of apricot, ripe pineapple and passion fruit, with a lively and persistent finishing.
Alcohol Content 12% | Reducing Sugar 2,5 g/l
pH 3,48 | Total Acidity 4,7 g/l

Bottling April 16th with natural cork
Recommendation Serve at 8º-10º C. This wine is great for an aperitif before a meal, or for a sunset drink in the afternoon. It can also be tasted while having a light meal, a lobster salad, a caesar salad, a fish or shellfish dish, either cooked or grilled.
Terroir Clay and shale-limestone
Harvest On August 24th, the harvest was done manually and transported in 10 kg boxes to avoid crushing the grapes
Oenology Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank, for three weeks, at a controlled temperature of 14ºC
Aging After fermentation, the wine was kept in contact with the lees until April/20
